ALEKSANDRA ZAMOJSKA

A Polish soprano Aleksandra Zamojska is a graduate of the Music Academy in Kraków and Mozartum in Salzburg in the class of Liliana Sukis and Breda Zakotnik. Performed in numerous theatres, among others Théâtre des Champs Elysĕes in Paris and Opera in Montpellier and Perpignan, as well as on the Ruhr Triennale Festival, where, under the baton of Marc Minkowski, she presented not only the parts of the Queen Of the Night but also the parts of Pamina in the Magic Flute of Mozart. Performed among others in the oratorio of Ludwig van Beethoven Christ on Olive Mountain as well as the Schőnberg’s oratorio Jacob’s ladder together with the German Symphony Orchestra in Berlin or with Kent Nagano. Furthermore, she appeared in Opera Bastille in Paris, presenting the part of Ksienia in the opera Borys Godunow and the part of Ninietta in the opera The Love for Three Oranges by Profokiew, in the part of Amor in Orpheus and Eurydice by Gluck in Palais Garnier in Paris as well as the part of Zerlina in Don Giovanni by Mozart. In Summer 2004 she appeared for the first time on the Salzburg Festival, in the Silver Rose Cavalier. In 2006 the soprano singer came back to the Salzburg Festival in the part of Bastienne in Bastien and Bastienne by Mozart and in the part of Madame Herz in the Theatre’s Director. Together with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra she debuted in Autumn 2007, performing the songs of Szymanowski. In 2008, in the International Festival of the Sacred Music “Gaude Mater” she performed the newly found aria signed with Mozart’s name: Jesu dulcis memoria.
