ANDRZEJ SADOWSKI

Graduated from the State Theatre School in Kraków. From the early ’80 till 2003, together with Katarzyna Deszcz, led the underground Mandala Theatre. They both prepared few dozens of artistic projects of various disciplines, related to the theatre, which were staged during numerous theatre and performance festivals in 35 countries. Since 1986 has been cooperating with dozens of European theatre centers, where he has been giving the lectures based on the experimental methods and actor techniques used in Mandala. In ’90 he started the cooperation with the artistic colleges, among others: Dartington College of Arts (UK), Academia de Musica & des Artes Espectaculo (Portugal). From 1997 till 1999 he was a member of the Theatre Academy at the European Council (L’Académie Européenne des Arts du Geste du Conceil d’Europe). His debut in the repertoire theatre took place in 1997. he dealt with stage – managing in Poland, Croatia, Japan, Germany, England, Ireland, Scotland, the USA, Turkey, Ukraine, Norway, Portugal, Canada and Russia.
