THE SAKALA BROTHERS (Zambia)

One of the most appreciated Zambia bands, praising the music culture of this country, preserving its original sounds, rhytm, and emotions. Frontmen of the band are brothers: Moses and Levey Sakala. Band participates actively in the religious animation in the African Church and is a significant factor of evangelisation conducted in the mission centres. Songs of the band tell the story of their generation, struggling with poverty, isolation of Zambia society, bribery, greed and prejudices. Texts written by Sacala brothers present not only the human values, but also deeply religious ones. The Sacala Brothers band participated in numerous artistic events, both: regional but also international ones. Musicians gave concerts in Great Britain, South Korea, Poland and RPA.
