DARIUSZ SIEDLIK
Born in Częstochowa. Graduated with the distinction from the Music Lyceum in Częstochowa, in the clarinet class of Prof. W. Pyda. Studied in the Music Academy in Kraków – Vocal and Actor Faculty in the class of Prof. Helena Łazarska and Prof. Wojciech Jan Śmietana. In 1991 received the diploma with distinction. At the same time he studied at the , in the organ class of Prof. Leszek Wagner. After the completion of vocal studies he was awarded the scholarship of the city of Nurnberg, and continued the vocal studies the Nurnberg Conservatory. In 1992 he was granted the 2-year contract with the Bayerische Staatsoper to the Opernstudio. Since 1994 he has been singing in the Nurnberg Opera. In May 2007 participated in the Nurnberg premiere of Aribert Reimann opera Melusine, with the composer’s participation. In his concerts he presents the classical oratorio repertoire. He took part in numerous primary performances: Martin Torp opatorio Siehe, ich mache alles neu in Nurnberg, Juliusz Łuciuk oratorio God’s flow and the Markus Zahnhausen oratorio in Munchen Et Amor Omnia. He participated in copious festivals, among others: Nürnberger Orgelwochen, Würzburger Bachtage, Sacrum-Profanum Festival in Kraków. In May 2007 in Uzgorod and at the Czajkowski Festival in Łuck presented the baritone part in the Ukrainian premiere of the K. Regamey oratorio Visions of the Prophet Daniel. With the particular passion he performs the Juliusz Łuciuk’s songs.
