ROBERT WIĘCKIEWICZ
Theatre and film actor, graduate of the Wrocław Actor’s School. His creation in the diploma spectacle was awarded during the 11th All-Polish Review of the Theatre Schools Diploma Performances in Łódź. Shortly afterwards started the cooperation with the Polish Theatre in Poznań, where he debuted with the double role in the spectacle: Nasze Miasto (Our city). After three years he moved to the capital city to appear in the Variety Theatre – he has been appearing there till now. His debut in the cinema took place in the film by Feliks Falk: Samowolka (Lawlessness). The first of the gangster roles – so characteristic for him – was in the film by Natalia Koryncka- Gruz: Amok. His first serious creation is believed to be the comedy about the film profession, directed by Tomasz Konecki and Andrzej Saramonowicz: Pół serio (Half-Serious). Furthermore, the actor appeared in the series: Na dobre i na złe (For better or worse), ‘M jak miłość (L like love), Samo Życie (Life only) and in the very popular serie: Sfora (Pack). We could admire his skills in the films: Vinci, Okruchy nieba (Heaven’s Remains), Południe – Północ (South – North). His popularity was won also in the series: Świadek koronny (Crown Witness) and Odwróceni (Conversed). He was nominated twice to the Golden Duck Award, moreover, he was granted the Golden Lions Award at the Polish Films Festival in Gdynia. He received twice the Eagle – the Award of the Polish Film Academy.
