Traffic Strings

Traffic Strings was founded by the viola player Lucian Moraru. Initially a string quintet, the group invited a Pan flute player. In this way the group added new colours of its sound. The present repertoire of the group requires the use of the accordion, piano and a percussion part.
They perform pieces from different ages and music styles. They pass through the filter of their instruments anything that inspires them and they consider valuable. They always seek after new sounds in their arrangements, which make them very unique.
The ensemble has already gained an international reputation and gives concert all around the world. The musicians performed in the most significant concert halls in Europe and North America accompanying the greatest soloist, as for example the world renowned Pan flute player Gheorghe Zamfir.
The group has published three CDs: "The Four Seasons", "Tango Finesse", "Seasons Rendezvous" which include Argentinean music and Vivaldi’s compositions.
