"Camerata Silesia" Ensemble

One of the best chamber choirs in Europe. It has received numerous awards and distinctions. It is famous from perfect and recherché interpretations of both: the early music and modern scripts. Many Polish contemporary composers dedicated their works to the Ensemble, who was specially sought out for first performances of these pieces. The artistic output of the group consists of: numerous CDs, prestigious phonographic awards, many radio and television recordings, live concerts for European Broadcasting Union, performances broadcasted by important media. Moreover, one cannot forget about the efforts of “Camerata Silesia” to promote Polish music, especially nearly forgotten, but newly discovered early music pieces from the archives of Jasna Gora Monastery in Częstochowa, from the archives in Gniezno and Gostyń.

A founder of the ensemble "Camerata Silesia", believed to be one of the most distinguished Polish choir conductors. Elements as an artistic profile of the ensemble, style of performance, choice of repertoire and personality are owned to her. A laureate of Minister of Culture’s Award for special artistic achievements. In 2004 she was praised by the Chapter of Jerzy Kurczewski Award for outstanding achievements in the field of choral singing.
